I'm on my second attempt to get SXDE 1/08 and have waited thirty minutes at the end of the 3.8GB download. http://www.sun.com/download/sdm/sdm_help.xml advises "Important: Large files require extra system processing time at the end of the download. As a result, the SDM progress bar may show "100%" while the Status still says "Downloading data..." Be patient and do not close SDM. After a few minutes, the Status changes to "Downloaded", and the download is complete."
I've waited 30 minutes and the process is just sitting there doing nothing except for the regular spike of IO every 30 seconds.
