I am not sure how old your Dell Optiplex 320 is or when it was made, but check
out Technical Support Dell Solution Network: Knowledge Base Article BIOS
Updates on the bios level and update it if needed, also try installing snv_b81
as well, if not then submit a bugid. I updated my Gigabyte GA-M51-GMS2 MB and
now my sata dvd-ram drive , in the last year alone were three updates, I am not
saying all Mfg are this way, but it worth looking into!
