The subject pretty much says it all. I'm on a cable modem -which functionally means I have a static ip address -which means that I'm potentially a target for crackers.
So, since I'm not running any servers (I've disabled sendmail and ssh) do I need to install a firewall of any sort? Is there one included with solaris express? If not, what would be a good one to grab (and from where -blastwave?) Would someone mind pointing me in the direction of some reading material that would explain to me (in luser-ese) what I need to know to set solaris up securely as a desktop? Thanks in advance!
