@Kyle,

I don't have problem with my own dhcp servers.  However, this problem is 
related to the ClearWire WiMax modem (a bridge); I can't change its setting.  
:-(

@Boyd & James Carlson,

Yes, modifying the /etc/resolv.conf file with the appropriate OpenDNS addresses 
should work.  However, the default dhcp client setup is to allow the dhcp 
server to overwrite ("update") the DNS data.  How to modify the dhcp client 
config in Solaris so that the DNS data will not be overwritten by the server, 
will be my next question, though it does not provide the best solution.
