I've gotten my Promise Ultra 100 TX2 to work and submitted it to the HCL with
the steps detailed here for the Ultra TX133:
http://www.opensolaris.org/jive/thread.jspa?messageID=98339&#98339

now I have:
(1) boot drive
(2) dvdrw
(3,4,5,6,7,8) hard drives for a nice zfs pool with a hot spare. These 2 port (4
IDE drive) IDE cards can be sourced for $32 US with your favorite search/price
engine.

I think this means many more people can afford to test/experiment with
storage/zfs now.
