Oh one other note I forgot to add is : I have been for a while now  changing 
the property of /ect/hosts adding a . between solaris and loghost solaris 
primarily out of convenience. This helps it to shut down and start up faster 
also I believe it would take operation out of an anonymous proxy state doesn't 
it? That really should not have much to do with memcached would it??
