Thanks a lot for the info. Those books are considering their huge contents a lot cheaper than books on Analog IC Design or Electrical Machinery... One of the books (a more general work) is 'Structured Computer Organization' from Andrew S Tanenbaum. I think this is a classic. And what's more, it's also very well written for a technical book.
