OK, let's see if I provide more details, because I have the same problem. 1) I downloaded the 2nd Developer Preview of Indiana 2) installation went +/- smooth on a VirtualBox emulated host 3) I also downloaded the ae and gani drivers from the Solaris free NIC drivers page 4) Using pkg, I refreshed the system using the URL http://pkg.opensolaris.org/ 5) I installed the gcc package from there 6) I decompressed the ae driver 7) I followed the instructions to compile the ae driver, the same way I had with the OpenSolaris Developer Express 01/08 I have at home and got a ton of gcc errors, which are all due to lacking system C headers in my system.
My question is: where are the C headers in http://pkg.opensolaris.org/ If I don't get the ae drivers to compile, I will not try to install Indiana on a PC I have prepared for this, because it also needs the GANI drivers to get the network up and running This message posted from opensolaris.org _______________________________________________ opensolaris-help mailing list [email protected]
