OK so now how do you shut down the system. After all the new packages installed
(this time it did not loose connection) I tryed to shut down. Pop-up said I
didn't have authority so I su : halt. Next boot-up it loaded 40 someodd more
smf's. Now when I try to shut-down, system locks up with blank pop-up on
screen? Can I do some kind of roll back or do I have to start over??
