The right alt key on Solaris defaults to AltGraph, for use in international
key layouts. I haven't tried, but think you can change it to normal alt
by running:
xmodmap -e "remove Mod3 = Mode_switch"
xmodmap -e "keysym Mode_switch = Alt_R"
xmodmap -e "add Mod1 = Alt_R"
