SIgh !

You are experiencing the wonders of the NetWork Auto-Magic ( NWAM)
driver.

nwam is a bit of code that automatically activates the laptop Wireless
interface if
the wired interface is disconected.

Probably it "fiddles" with the wireless I/F if the signal is weak.

Do you have a Wireless interface and a WLAN router in the vincinity ?

If you only run a WIRED interface you can turn NWAM off:

   # svcadm disable network/physical:nwam
    # svcadm enable network/physical:default

The link I sent you last time around contains reference and task lists to all
Internet connection related files to edit.
However it does not mention NWAM.

You probably need to check all the network files again after having turned
nwam off.
You need to check :

/etc/hosts
/etc/nsswitch.conf
/etc/resolv.conf
/etc/defaultrouter
/etc/netmasks

make sure /etc/hostname.interfacename exists and points to the correct
entry in /etc/hosts

that /etc/dhcp.interfacename is removed

It is too difficult to write a step-by-step instructions because there are
too many variables. You doo need too read the manuals.
