Solaris Bundled Driver: pci-ide Storage Intel Corporation 82801I (ICH9 Family) 2 port SATA IDE Controller Solaris Bundled Driver: pci-ide Storage Intel Corporation 82801IR/IO/IH (ICH9R/DO/DH) 4 port SATA IDE Controller only device not support detected is LAN card. but still installation hangs right after displaying copyright information in SATA mode set to IDE in BIOS. when I change SATA mode to RAID in BIOS install stops after displaying following error message copyright information Requesting System maintenance mode (see /lib/svc/share/README for more) console login service can not run Root password for system maintenance(ctrl-D to bypass) pls let me know anybody face this kind of issue and solved and installed in Dell Vostro 200 system I tried Solaris 10 X86 as well, it also hangs in SATA-IDE mode and no disk found error in SATA-RAID mode. thanks again, -bala- --- andrew <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > SATA disks are not a problem.
