Looks like the two Package manager ( the old and new ) is caught in a
situation here
that they can t recover from.
this package : NVIDIA-Solaris-x86-96.43.05.run
uses the old pkgadd/info/rm package manager. It is programmed to
remove
this directory /var/sadm/pkg/NVDAgraphics/install
Which is not there since you are running 2008.05 .
The new package manager dont use this directory .
One way to install the nvidia 96.43 drivers migth be to
first remove the installed Nvidia Packages ( from a root console login )
and then add the NVIDIA-Solaris-x86-96.43.05.run package.
If there is no nvidia software installed I assume that it wont try
to remove the above non-exisiting directory .
