I've been searching the web for some advice, but can't seem to find a
definitive answer on this subject. Perhaps there's no real benefit either way.

I have a Global zone with x5 local zones, each local zone has file-systems that
need to be on SAN. We use VXvM to create the volumes and we need to present
those to the local zones in the shape of a file system. Now we understand you
can mount the volumes on the global zone and then present these to the local
zones as a loopback fs (lofs), or we can just present the volumes to the local
zones directly using a ufs mount. Is there a best practice ? we are using the
ufs approach, but now sure if we'll encounter any issues.
