Hi,

I am new to openSolaris, but have been a regular Linux user and sometime
FreeBSD user.

I am not sure what I am having trouble with here. A command like this in
Zenwalk Linux will install the package.

Maybe the command is wrong or do I need to have the package on the desktop?

~
pkg install /export/home/william/openSolaris/win32-codecs-061022.tgz
~

that gives me....

~
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ pkg install
/export/home/william/openSolaris/win32-codecs-061022.tgz
pkg: no package matching
'/export/home/william/openSolaris/win32-codecs-061022.tgz' could be found in
current catalog
suggest relaxing pattern, refreshing and/or examining catalogs
pkg: install failed: Unable to assemble image plan
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$
~

I managed to get the update and the boot image going I am with the newest
update.

Any help would be appreciated. I am trying to get the ability to view videos.
Not copywrited ones, just normal regular small videos people download.
