Yesterday I downloaded Opensolaris for trying it out.
The live cd booted ok and everything seemed fine, but then the problems started.
I soon found out that I did not have the driver for the network card and
because it is the network card it is impossible to download a driver..

Is there any way to run the live cd and somehow get the Via Rhine II driver to
play?

I am not going to install Opensolaris until I have a functional network card of
course.

My second problem is a minor one and it is that I have a dual monitor setup and
I could not find any way to set up my monitors correctly so I had two monitors
showing the same contents. Found this to be quite annoying.

I have been using Linux since Slackware 1.0 and have never had any problems
with the network card before and I find this to be a weakness in Opensolaris.
Of course I do not know whether or not this also applies to Solaris.
