You probably forgot to install the Chinese locale(s) during the initial
installation.
To add the zh_CN Chinese locale after installation, insert your Solaris DVD,
then do the following:
localeadm -a zh_CN.UTF-8 -d /cdrom/cdrom0
Since you appear to be a Solaris noobie, unless you have special needs, I
suggest that you use OpenSolaris instead of Solaris 10.
