I am still learning how to do stuff with solaris and was very disappointed when
sx:de dvd stopped. Sx:ce is a bit different and for me I thought it to be a
step backwards but its not really. One problem I first encountered was you had
to tell it what application to run a .jpn file which worked automatically
before but works fine once the terminal is retrained with file association. The
other main gripe was all the integrated tools not present even got directed
back to tool download page which is a pain to integrate at least for me. This
is not the case with the dvd once installed reinsert the cd and tool
integration is there for install. For me I had to reburn the iso from the new
install; kept getting read errors from original cd. Webstack netbeans sunstudio
is all there not sure about xVm layer never got that far but it has a lot more
than I first thought, it just takes more manual steps.
