Typically I'd expect intrd to hold down somewhere around 5-10MB of RSS, in fact I'm looking at 7MB on my desktop at the moment. However some out of control run time bloat has started to manifest recently. Interestingly intrd itself has not changed in some time.
I filed: http://bugs.opensolaris.org/view_bug.do?bug_id=6727579 last week. Since then we've had another sighting internally, and now this thread, so I've bumped the priority up. A workaround seems to be to pkill intrd and to let smf restart it. Mine at least has not grown again. > Essentially, I need to answer the question: "Whats more important, 700MB of > RAM or intrd?" You shouldn't have to chose. This is a bug that needs fixing. -jan This message posted from opensolaris.org _______________________________________________ opensolaris-help mailing list [email protected]
