Hi everybody and thanks in advance!

First of all, just wanted to let you all know that I'm a newbie with Solaris.

I'm trying to upgrade from Solaris 10 to Solaris 9 under the following platform:
SunOS smarts1 5.9 Generic_118558-34 sun4u sparc SUNW,Sun-Fire-V240

The problem is that I'm trying to do it remotely through a VNC session.
Once I log in to the server I open the a terminal window and there is no way
for me to run the command STOP A that you would issue in order to type
BOOT CDROM.

Is there a workaround for this when working with a NON Solaris keyboard?

Thanks again!
Jon.
