Assuming you had hit the <ENTER> key during he install, try hittng enter, if
not you will need to boot on the DVD maint mode (second arrow down on the grub
boot loader menu> and kernel loads and it prompt to mount root with a menu
option of: mount /dev/dsk/cXd0s0 /a command assuming X is tour disk no that you
loaded OpenSolaris or Solaris then run a vi /a/etc/passwd to edit between the
second and third : colon and move the cursor over to the right of the second :
and use x to rull out to the righ up to the thrid : then hit esc:wq! to save
the fileand you should be able to then run a umount /a and the type init 6 to
reboot.
vi /a/etc/passwd
root::sdlkfldkfdlk:1:0:root account:/:/bin/sh
to:
root:::1:0:root account:/:/bin/sh
escwq!
init 6
