The BIOS disk boot order might need to be made a primary disk where you 
installed Solaris, I do believe the secondary disk that you used id considered 
extended partition in fdisk. so rootnoverify (hd4,0) is not supported yet. but 
a primary disk rootnoverify (hd0,0) being primary boot disk should work, with 
what info you provided. 
Or can you spare i.e 32 or 64g on your primary boot disk and reinstall.
