No links or configuration necesary - if your CPU supports the standard AMD
or Intel 64-bit extensions, OpenSolaris will automatically detect and run
in 64-bit mode.
To verify, once you're running, try running isainfo:
% isainfo -kv
64-bit amd64 kernel modules
% isainfo -v
64-bit amd64 applications
ahf sse3 sse2 sse fxsr amd_3dnowx amd_3dnow amd_mmx mmx cmov amd_sysc
cx8 tsc fpu
32-bit i386 applications
ahf sse3 sse2 sse fxsr amd_3dnowx amd_3dnow amd_mmx mmx cmov amd_sysc
