Read the documentation in LDAP Naming Services Setup and Administration for Solaris 10. Use the schemas provided in the reference section. You will have to edit them -- especially the OIDs -- so they will work with OpenLDAP.
In my case, I'm modifying my LDAP tree so searches on specific databases like passwd and host can be found in the expected locations in the tree: people and hosts. It has taken me a couple of days to get it working, but once I started using wireshark to inspect the LDAP packets sent from OpenSolaris I could see what it was looking for and I was able to make the OpenLDAP database conform. -- This message posted from opensolaris.org _______________________________________________ opensolaris-help mailing list [email protected]
