Those attachments seem to be identical, even down to the time the
server was started.
There is an error in your log showing that it couldn't find the fonts
and then shutdown:
Fatal server error:
could not open default font 'fixed'
which is strange, since it finds the default font path, which normally
works:
(==) No FontPath specified. Using compiled-in default.
(==) FontPath set to:
catalogue:/etc/X11/fontpath.d
Does /etc/X11/fontpath.d exist when you see this problem?
