The publisher is only displayed when it differs from your preferred
provider. For example:
bleon...@opensolaris:~$ pkg list -a sungridengine
NAME (PUBLISHER) VERSION
STATE UFIX
service/compute/sungridengine (extra) 6.2.2-0.111
known ----

from the output it seems pkg list will show whether a package is installed on
my box or not. What i am looking for is a command which search for a package in
the list of pkg publisher list and informs which publisher contains the given
package.
