Create a new user as a quick test, also submit a RFE 
http://bugs.opensolaris.org/ on the sound card w. the output of 
/usr/X11/bin/scanpci -v and prtconf -v of the sound sections of the nodes of 
the audio device, that way other users could passable benefit from using this 
device down the road as well.
