There's a bug with opensolaris' gnome menu — for some reason it doesn't
refresh itself automatically after adding new entries to it.
As a workaround, you can restart gnome-panel manually, e.g. by
executing "pkill gnome-panel" (writing that in Applications - Run
Application / alt-f2 launcher works too), and the new entries should
appear in the menu.

It would be helpful if any new observations are added there.
