So I was wondering how I could create and install OpenSolaris on a partition
that's formatted as something--anything--other than ZFS. The graphical
installer is a little [i]too[/i] user-friendly in my case, as it won't let me
create a non-ZFS partition.
I've searched the forums and the Web for answers, and I can't find anything
very helpful. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
(Note: I've used Linux for several years now, but I have little knowledge of
OpenSolaris insofar as it differs from Linux. Please don't judge me! :) )
I don't think you can have a root filesystem other than ZFS in OpenSolaris.
