Subject: [osol-help] Using tip

Hi
I'm interested in using tip on my OpenSolaris box to connect to the serial port
on a Sunfire v100 I have just acquired. But being a complete novice at this
serial lark I am a bit confused about devices and settings. The machine is a
Dell Optiplex GX620 and the Device Drive Utility says it has one
16550A-compatible COM port which looks reasonable and has a node name asy.
Can anyone suggest settings that I can add to /etc/remote to allow me connect.
Something along the lines of
sunfire::dv=/dev/ttya:br=#9600
Then I get sort of lost :-)

Regards Paul
