Thanks for the info again.  
I got the broadcom files using windows and saved them to a usb drive.  Solaris 
does not see the usb drive files.   I think I will plug in to the ethernet and 
see if Solaris can read that port.  Then I can get the broadcom files in a form 
that Solaris can see.
Sorry I have not had much time to work on this and post the outputs you mention.
