Remove these lines from the grub:
splashimage /boot/solaris.xpm
foreground d25f00
background 115d93
Then remove the last part of the boot line (,console=graphics):
kernel$ /platform/i86pc/kernel/$ISADIR/unix -B $ZFS-BOOTFS,console=graphics

Rebooted and the machine won't come up
Tried e at the grub menu and editing the boot command adding -s but that hangs
on the splash screen. Any ideas on how to get a totally GUI free boot into
single user mode?
Cheers Paul
