I completely agree, the download page is VERY UNCLEAR. At the very least, make it known that the Auto Install CD's are not bootable (just saying it's not a live CD doesn't imply non-bootable). Also make it clear that an x86 system is required to install the current release on SPARC.
Not sure I agree with that last statement since we have no problem installing OpenSolaris x86 and Sparc machines from IPS repositories on Solaris 10 Sparc and x86 servers.
