The problem is due to a typo in Targetdirs:
/usr/lib/inet/dhcp/svcadm \
/usr/lib/inet/$(MACH32) \
sparcv9_DIRS64= \
/platform/sun4u \
The line before sparcv9_DIRS64 has a continuation character where none is
wanted. I got rid of my copy did an hg update to pull from the public repo and
got the same stuff.
However, a browse of the source code shows no such typo.
