Actually, now that I think of it, it may be the tape drive / autoloader
that's not compatible.  Maybe the scsi card is fine.

 

Anyone know any way to tell what's the problem?

How do you choose hardware for your system?  In particular, I need to add a
scsi card to a Solaris 10u8 (10/09) system.  The hardware compatibility list
only has one device on it, and that is rather a dead end .  

 

So there must be something better . an unofficial HCL or something
somewhere?
