What I need: I need your help or advice about setting larger value of mtu on my atge0 device
What I have: MB ASUS P5E-VM, with Attansic Technology Corp. L1 Gigabit Ethernet Adapter (pciex1969,1048) What I did: 1. used 2 binary version of drivers from http://homepage2.nifty.com/mrym3/taiyodo/eng/ atge-2.6.3 & atge-2.6.5 2. tried to: # dladm set-linkprop -p mtu=9000 atge0 dladm: warning: cannot set link property 'mtu' on 'atge0': operation not supported - also on unplpumed atge0 I assumed that dladm cannot change value of property because of no permission or possibility # dladm show-linkprop -p mtu LINK PROPERTY PERM VALUE DEFAULT POSSIBLE atge0 mtu r- 1500 1500 -- 3. Tried to use recompiled driver with GLDv3flag (Makefile.config_gld3), but wihout ONUTSDIR & with no luck again. So waht can you advice to me? - I whould be glad to see your answers.
