Hi, i guess you're using the AutoInstall-CD (http://genunix.org/distributions/indiana/osol-dev-128a-ai-x86.iso) which wont work.
The Live-CD (http://genunix.org/distributions/indiana/osol-dev-128a-x86.iso) works like a Charm. The only Problem i had was the Size of the ISO, which didn't fit on a 700MB-CD...
