Hi Guys, Firstly I'm absolutely new to opensolaris and am absolutely loving it though I'm afraid I need to ask some stupid questions.
I'll attach an image file of the problem below however basically I use a java web app for some trading software which shows me a list of my fav commodities/indexes. On opensolaris 2008.11 it worked great however after a clean reformat-install of 2009.6 I now receive a blank screen in the dialogue box where this info should be. I was thinking it was the JRE version so I visited java.com and discovered I didn't have the latest - 1.6-13 instead of 18. I downloaded .18 for regular solaris though came unstuck with installing the .SH file. Basically is their an easy way to update my JRE to the latest? I've tried updating all packets in the packet manager. I think updating my JRE will likely solve my problem. Apologies in advance for being such a newbie!
