I'm running OpenSoalris build 111a (live CD) on X86 and installed 'vpnc' according to the instruction - http://www.cwinters.com/blog/2008/02/02/getting_vpnc_to_work_on_opensolaris.html I was able to bring up 'vpnc my.conf' as a root. #modinfo shows 'tun' and 'tap' are loaded. ifconfig tun0 tun0: flags=10010008d0<POINTOPOINT,RUNNING,NOARP,MULTICAST,IPv4,FIXEDMTU> mtu 1412 index 4 inet xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx --> xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx netmask ffffffff either xx"xx"xx"xx:0.0 # ifconfig tun0 up ifconfig: setifflags: SIOCSLIFFLAGS: tun0: no such interface In /var/adm/messages: tun0: DL_BIND_REQ failed: DL_OUTSTATE Looks like my configuration is incomplete. Would like to know what needs to be done to get 'vpnc' working. Appreciate your help.
