...still the same time on ssh connection. I'm using fish:// in Dolphin to transfer on Linux so I'm not sure whether I can use that -c option straight after the destination, but I'll try. Something has to help because even when switching directories, it takes so long to bring up a directory that I can definately feel the wait. SMB share mounted, is almost instantanious. My dinner is ready, so once I've caught up with the evening news (like I haven't been reading it on the web at lunch time!) I'll see what the router offers in terms of DNS.
