I answered with the following last week:
If you downloaded Flash from adobe directly, you need to also have the
libmlib.so.2 library installed. It is delivered with the medialib
package.
I found this out on one system by running firefox from the
commandline, and then going to a webpage with a flash movie. The
missing library message was in the terminal window.
The preferred way though is to install the flash IPS package from the
/extra repository.

Well, I installed "Adobe Flash Player version 10.0.45.2" as per instructions.
from http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer ...
and it didn't work ?
$ uname -a
... 5.11 snv_133 i86pc i386 i86pc Solaris
Example:
$ ls -la /usr/lib/firefox/plugins/libflashplayer.so
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root bin 10847132 2010-03-04 04:36
/usr/lib/firefox/plugins/libflashplayer.so
$ ls -la ~/.mozilla/plugins/libflashplayer.so
-rwxr-xr-x 1 rick staff 10847132 2010-02-02 20:20
/home/rick/.mozilla/plugins/libflashplayer.so
-anyway, neither way worked at all ???
Anyone have any ideas ?
btw: my cpu is amd64, so I'm sure it's 64bit -is that a problem ?
thanks.
Rick.
