Opensolaris B134
Dell PE T710

I'm trying to upgrade Broadcom NetXtreme II BCM5709 Gigabit Ethernet driver to
the latest one(GLDv3) from

http://www.broadcom.com/support/ethernet_nic/netxtremeii.php

I tried to do it according to their instructions, but nothing worked.
I guess the process of upgrading driver is different for Opensolaris than
regular Solaris 10...

This is what I did:

beadm create test
beadm mount test /test
pkg -R /test uninstall driver/network/bnx
beadm umount test
beadm activate test
reboot

pkgadd -d BRCMbnx.pkg

It says the driver installed successfully but failed to attach....
After rebooting there are numerous warnings in boot messages regarding failed
to get device info, failed to map device or something like that...

I'm totally newbie in Solaris world.Could somebody please provide me with
step-by-step instructions of how to upgrade drivers for Opensolaris ?

Thanks a lot in advance.
