I initially had problems with the builtin network interface. ITs a Broadcom and
with it enabled in the BIOS the system would boot. I bought a D-Link DFE-530TX+
because it was on the HCL. Well, I installed it, but evidentally the chipset
has changed. I installed the driver I found for Broadcam and it comes up
'misconfigured'. I then found a driver for the Broadcom and it comes up ok on
the driver gui, but I can't get it to work. I touched the file /etc/dhcp.bcme0
because I want to use dhcp. The system starts to boot, but ultimately just sits
there until I press a key and then I get bmce0 cannot get adapter information.
I have no idea what this message means.
