I'd download the OpenSolaris (sparc) 0906 ISO, verified the MD5 hash, burned
the ISO to a DVD, and it's not booting on my Sun Netra Cp3260 with an external
USB CD/DVD drive.
I know the external DVD works, because I can get a Milax (sparc) DVD on the
same DVD media to boot.
Here's what I see when I attempt to boot:
{0} ok boot /p...@0/p...@0/p...@a/p...@0/u...@4,2/stor...@1/disk
Boot device: /p...@0/p...@0/p...@a/p...@0/u...@4,2/stor...@1/disk File and
args:
Bad magic number in disk label
Can't open disk label package
ERROR: boot-read fail
Can't open boot device
I also tried:
boot /p...@0/p...@0/p...@a/p...@0/u...@4,2/stor...@1/disk
boot /p...@0/p...@0/p...@a/p...@0/u...@4,2/stor...@1/disk:a
boot /p...@0/p...@0/p...@a/p...@0/u...@4,2/stor...@1/disk:f
The MilaX DVD boots fine with:
boot /p...@0/p...@0/p...@a/p...@0/u...@4,2/stor...@1/disk
Any ideas?
