Thanks for your reply and apologies for the double post. I am not used to
this syle of hybrid 'mailing list' foum. I posted a second time as for some
reason the first post did not contain the text I had from do or the other
commands i ran to show space.
Given this emails peple the original post and not the edited one, I tried to
post this information again so that those on the mailing list could see it.
This did not work either 9perhaps there is some character string in the listing
that the forum software does not like and so cuts it of). Anyway, i then posted
the output as an attachment.
I'm off to work a the moment, but had a quick chance to run the command you
gave.
Thanks for that. It shows the rpool including snapshots, and while i'll need to
go into it in more detail, it still does not seem to add up to the space shown
as used...but I will look at it in more detail whe I get home and post the
outcomes.
I have read the man for zfs a number of times. I am sure the information I need
is in there, but sometimes I need more direct help.
