We've been attempting to migrate from Linux to OpenSolaris for MySQL servers, owing to the far-superior IO performance. Unfortunately we've discovered that OpenSolaris will freeze up, usually within a week, sometimes much faster, on our new Dell R710 servers.
I suspect a problem with mega_sas and the PERC 6i controller, but unfortunately no dump or console output is ever produced, and nothing appears in logs.
