Thanks Bart .. your direction was spot on.
After replacing the "" with " in both 'include' files, I was able to
successfully add the two packages to the local IPS repository without error and
then subsequently do the pkg install of the two packages manually again with
the expected results.
It sort of suggests that the STB bundle hasn't been installed on OpenSolaris
yet?
I guess I'll attempt to feed this back to the STB developers so they can
address them before customers are exposed to them (the SUNWipkg rename and the
"" in the /var/tmp/STBinstall/explorer/include_explo and
/var/tmp/STBinstall/explorer/include_explu files).
I am posting the expected output here in the event it helps someone with a
different issue.
