Hello Community, I've been using OpenSolaris as a home NAS for more than a year now, with mostly peaceful stretches of happiness. ZFS is the main reason I'm running OpenSolaris for my storage needs and blastwave helps me with most of my services, like OpenVPN server, mt-daap a.k.a firefly, and a few others.
Then there are the rather frequent kernel panics. At least once a week, my NAS stops responding when I'm streaming music, browsing CIFS shares or backing up via iSCSI. I am using snv_131. I really love OpenSolaris but I am not a developper and I can not go out and fix it myself. Therefore I ask for help ;) So here I am with a question: Q: When it crashes, panics and dumps, how can I make OpenSolaris reboot by itself? Right now, the kernel panics, dumps and stays dead until I hard reboot it. Thank you very much, keep up the great work! -- This message posted from opensolaris.org _______________________________________________ opensolaris-help mailing list opensolaris-help@opensolaris.org
