Which one? The OpenSolaris 2009.06 LiveCD?

Or the latest OpenSolaris development LiveCD
http://www.genunix.org/distributions/indiana/osol-dev-134-x86.iso ?

That could be a kernel panic.

In the GRUB boot menu, type 'e' twice to edit the boot
commands and append options " -kv" at the end of the
kernel$ line, RETURN and 'b' boots.

Does that stop in the kernel debugger? Does it
report a kernel panic? What error message does
it report?
