Hello, Having only replaced one failing disk I'm not really the voice of experience and I'll even make an assumption but I'd say this is normal. My reasoning is that you replace one disk with another so the system needs to know the old and the new device and thus cant use the same label for them. Setting the disk offline and doing the unconfigure on it might make things different but then again my disks doesn't show in 'cfgadm', I suspect that is because none of them are not on the mainboard controller. ~
